New Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2: Features a Sony IMX219 8-megapixel sensor with fixed focus lens, it is capable of 3280×2464 pixel static images and supports 1080p30, 720p60, 640×480p90 and VGA90 video modes ( compared to the 5-megapixel OV5647 sensor of the original camera which is only capable of 2592x1944 pixel static images). It has no IR filter that enables it IR sensitive for night times.
